Plein air painting on the bank of the Rivanna River. Some kayakers rowed through my scene and hollered that I should paint them too. I said I would, but they’d have to slow down.
This is my second attempt, on the first I was mauled by mosquitos and left defeated, this day was more fortunate. I’m happiest with the blue haze over the trees on the far shore. It was pronounced by the day, very sunny and colorful.
