Oil painting concept based on Horizon Zero Dawn of an Utaru tribesman protecting his baby from a machine beast. I framed the painting as a dark figure being highlighted by a light creature behind him. I think the success of this piece can mostly be attributed to that decision in the thumbnail phase.
